- Hey! I am Sarah Lovett, from Adel, GA.

- I am planning on earning a Public Relations Degree.

- I am attending Valdosta State University because it is close to home.

- I am the oldest of three children.

-My father attended VSU back when it was Valdosta State.

-My Mother attended Boston University.

The Freshman Year Experience Program

- The Freshman Year Experience gives students a head start into their college career by helping them become familiar with the campus and helping develop their college social life.

- The Freshman Year Experience has definitely helped me to become comfortable with college life my freshman year. It has helped me make new friends here on campus, and has helped me become familiar with the college itself.

- FYE will continue to help me throughout my college career by helping me build a solid social and academic foundation.

- I have made many new friends this year! I also have learned a plethora of critical academic tools I will be able to use throughout the rest of my academic life. I even learned new ways to study!
