Language Arts ~Grade PK-2~ Awesome Library is just exactly what it says.  It has thousands of lesson plans for Language Arts for youngsters. It even has a lot of information about different languages.  It is a library at your fingertips. ~Grade 3-5~ Teacher Sites is a really great website for all kinds of activities, lesson plans, and ideas.  I found a animal alphabet that is really adorable.  It has all kinds of worksheets that you can print out for spelling.

Reading ~Grade PK-2~ Starfall This website is really cute and awesome.  It has several activities to help young children read.  It has books on the website that children can read and learn the letters as well. ~Grade 3-5~ Planetesme This website is awesome.  It has a neat article about how to get children to enjoy reading.  It has all kinds of books with short summaries about each.  It has ideas for seasons and incorporating reading into each and everything you do with children.  It has everything you need for children's literature.

Math ~Grade PK-2~ KiddyHouse This website is exceptionally cute.  It has some neat worksheets and activities for young children.  It has some counting activities that are fun. ~Grade 3-5~ Math Forum This website has a lot of wonderful math projects and activities.  There are some good activities on geometry which can be diffucult.  It was interesting to see the things the children are learning in math at that grade level.

Social Studies ~Grade PK-2~ Lesson Plans I choose this website for it's wonderful ideas about social studies.  It had a cute activitiy that explained explorers and gets the students to pretend to be explorers.  It has all kinds of lesson plans involving history that is interesting and educational for youngsters. ~Grade 3-5~ Lesson planz This website was really interesting.  It has several activities that involve teaching social studies.  I found a really cute idea about making a edible map of a state.  There is another idea about making a pumpkin globe that is really awesome.  It seems really interesting and creative and that helps the children learn better.

Science ~Grade PK-2~ ED Helper This website is awesome.  It has a lot of activities and experiments that you can do with young children.  I have observed that children learn a lot about science from early on and there are a lot of wonderful ideas on this site for teaching science and making it interesting. ~Grade 3-5~ WebQuest I found some really great ideas for science on this page.  It has a lot of activities for the older children that are really educational and fun.  I found a project that lets students design brochures of the solar system and I thought it was fun and cool and the older kids would really enjoy that.

Art ~Grade PK-2~ Kinderart This website has really neat art lessons that you can use with pre-K and kindergarten.  It even has ideas for bulletin boards, which I think is very helpful. ~Grade 3-5~ Art Sparkers This website is really unique.  It has several ideas that will get students to thinking creatively. Click on art sparkers to find the really wonderful art activities.  I really love the "your favorite..." because it lets the children draw anything they want and shows you as the teacher how unique each child is.

Music ~Grade PK-2~ Kiddles This website is really cute for using songs in lessons.  It has songs listed by subject as well as other ideas.  It has "songs of the week" and allows you to search for songs that begin with certain letters or certain lyrics.  It is really a great website for teaching with music to young children. ~Grade 3-5~ Childrens' Music This website is really great for encorporating music into the classroom. Click on the resources for teachers. It has columns that are really helpful.  The first one is really great, especially if you are musically challenged.

Physical Education ~Grade PK-2~ Education World This website has wonderful ideas for physical education.  It has neat ways to encorporate P.E. into other lessons such as "spelling kickball."  This idea is really fun and exciting for the students.  ~Grade 3-5~ PE Central This website is very useful for physical education.  It has wonderful ideas to get the kids in shape.  There is a really neat activity called "Fitness Scavenger Hunt" as well as other awesome activities for grades 3-5.

Health and Hygiene ~Grade PK-2~ Childfun This website offers really great ides for teaching children health and hygiene.  I especially love the idea of making toothpaste.  I also love the games and activities as well as the recipes and snacks.  There are songs and poems for health and hygiene on the website.  It is just full of wonderful ideas. ~Grade 3-5~ A to Z Teacher Stuff This site has some really great ideas for teaching health and hygiene.  It has a lot of great lesson plans for teaching dental hygiene, nutrition,  and cardiovascular fitness.  One lesson plan has a really great idea on nutrition.  It allows children to learn good food choices and make a menu for one week.  Check out the great ideas for health and hygiene.
