Vertebrates are
usually larger than invertebrates
but there are many more invertebrates in the world.
Which
makes sense, because they take up less space! Look at the difference in
size between Dusty and this fish pictured above! Even though the fish
is one of the smaller vertebrates, Dusty, a mammal, takes up much more
space! Some
of the smaller vertebrates include reptiles, amphibians, birds, and
fish.
