Hello! Welcome to my webpage.  My name is Rusty Jarrett and I am currently a junior at Valdosta State University.  I am currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Program seeking my bachelor's degree.  I am a transfer student from Gordon College which is located in Barnesville, Georgia.  I really want to become an Elementary School Teacher because I love kids and I want to have the chance to make a difference in many students lives.


I am from McDonough, Georgia, which is about thirty minutes south of Atlanta.  I went to Eagles Landing High School and graduated in 2000.  During my four years of High School I participated in Basketball, Baseball and I ran Cross-Country.  I really enjoyed High School simply because of all the great friends I made and the great teachers I had.
                                                                   
In my spare time I really enjoy running, playing golf, traveling, and especially snowboarding.  My favorite place to snowboard that's close to home is Sky Valley Ski Resort.  It is located on the border of North Georgia and North Carolina.  I also love to play golf with my Dad when I go home for the weekends.  We usually always play at Georgia National Golf Course.  This winter I got the chance to visit Stresa, Italy to go snowboarding.  I had the time of my life snowboarding down the Italian Alps.  Also every summer my family takes a trip to our condo in Hilton Head, South Carolina, where it's a great time to relax and get a good tan.
