Hi! Welcome to my
page! My name is Becky Umberg. I am orginally from Suwanee, Georgia. I went
to North Gwinnett High School
and graduated from there in 2002. I am
currently a student at Valdosta
State University. I graduated from VSU
in December of 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. My major was Speech
Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. I decided to stay
in college and continue my education. I felt that I needed to be an
elementary school teacher. I plan on graduating with my second degree in December
of 2008. After that I plan on staying in the Valdosta area to start my
career. I am very excited about starting this next phase of my life.
My
family is very important to me. I am the oldest child and the only
girl, which has had it's challenges. My parents, Dave and Suzie, are
the best parents and have done their best in raising my brothers and
me. I have two younger brothers, Nathan and Sam. We also have a family
dog, Jake. My family and I have lived in Ohio, Michigan, North
Carolina, and Georgia. I have enjoyed living in Georgia the most. My
favorite thing about my family is our family dinners and conversations,
which there is plenty of in our house. We are a close family.
Another very important person in my life is my boyfriend, Daniel. He is
very special to me. I fell in love with him the first time we met. He
supports me in all that I do. He has taught me a lot about myself and
what it means to truly love someone. He is not only my boyfriend, but
he's also my best friend! I really feel like I'm the luckiest girl in
the world to have him in my life.

I love
doing a lot of different things. I love to travel. The beach is my
favorite place to go. I enjoy watching sports, especially football and
baseball. I am a Georgia, Auburn, and Blazer fan. During baseball
season, I cheer for the Atlanta
Braves. One of my favorite things
to do is read! I have a lot of favorite books, but one of my favorite
authors is Nicholas Sparks.
I also love to meet new people and make new
friends. My friends are important to me and spending time with them is
something that I really enjoy doing. I also enjoy spending time with my
sorority sisters. My sorority, Zeta
Tau Alpha, is very special to me
and the relationships that I have made there have helped me become the
person that I am today. Mostly, I just enjoy life and being happy!
