Who am I?
Hi,
my name is Rachel Music. I am from Alma, GA. I just recently moved to
Valdosta, GA and I am still learning my way around. I am 20 years old
and I attend Valdosta State University.
My major is Early
Childhood Education. I
absolutely love children, before moving to Valdosta I worked at the ABC
Daycare in Alma for three years. Now I am working at the Brookfield
Academy in the 18-28 months class. I love to spend time with my family,
boyfriend, and friends whenever I get a chance. My favorite sport is
baseball and I enjoy watching the Braves on television. My
favorite color is purple and my favorite hobby is shopping, but thats
only when I have the extra money!
Why
be a teacher?
I
want to be a teacher because I want to help children learn. I want to
be a role model for children and I want to help them find their full
potential. I want them to know that education is important and that it
takes an education to get through life. I want to be the best teacher
that I can be and I want the children that I teach to love me but
respect me. I want them to learn all they can from me and I want to
continue in my education just because I want to help my students
further their education.
My
Inspiration!
I
have two people that inspired me to become a teacher. The first person
is my mom. I can remember when I was little and my mom baby-sat and I
would always help her take care of several children. I loved it from
only six years old and I still love taking care of children today. I
think I received all of my patience from my mom. The second person is
my high school teacher Dr. Gail Williams. I had her for an education
class. In this class we found out what it was really like to be a
teacher. I enjoyed every moment of it and I do not regret any of it.
Dr. Williams always said that I had something special in me, and I
believe she was right. I think my purpose in life is to be an
educator.
Curves Finess For Women
I
enjoy working out at Curves in Valdosta., Ga. Curves is a place
just for women . It only takes three days a week for thirty minutes a
day and I can tell the difference it is making in me. I feel so
much better!
My
all time favorite place to eat is at Ryan's Steakhouse. They have
anything you could ever want. Ryan's has a huge salad and fruit
bar, a mega bar which consists of any type of vegetables, meat,
or fish that anyone desires. It also has a huge dessert bar and the
best yeast rolls in town. I am ready to go eat anytime!
I
just took my first trip to Panama City Beach and I absolutely loved it!
Panama is so beautiful. The sand is so white and the water is
crystal clear. Panama is now my favorite vacation spot. I can not
wait to go back again.
My
favorite television show is The Golden Girls. I watch the show almost
everyday. The girls keep me laughing all the time. Sophia is my
favorite Golden Girl. She is so hilarious and is always coming up with
witty remarks.
I enjoy
watching the Atlanta Braves
whenever I have a chance. They are my favorite baseball team. My daddy
got
me started watching the Braves when I was about eight years old and I
still enjoy it today. Whenever my dad and I get a chance we try to
watch it together.
This
is my boyfriend, Doug Dailey, and me at the beach house. We have been
together for over four and a half years. I really love him!
