My
Summary of a Country Girl Life
Hey! If you don't already know me, my name is
Rachel Chandler. I am 18 and will be 19 on June 22. I was born in Fort Worth,
Texas and raised in the small town of Blakely, Georgia.
That's right... I'm a Georgia Peach! Most of my visiting friends would pronounce
Blakely as "ghetto" or "country ghetto"! I guess I would
also have to agree. I have two brothers and an older sister, Will, Michael, and
Renee. My parents are divorced and I live with my mother. I graduated with a
class of about 170 students from Early County High. I was tenth in my class and
an honor and Beta graduate. I spent almost my entire life taking dance and
shouting at the top of my lungs as a cheerleader. I knew I couldn't
stay in Blakely for the rest of my life because I was an adventurer. I can never
stay in one place for too long. I was accepted at Valdosta State University with
the hopes of becoming a teacher. I decided I couldn't handle a bunch of
screaming kids, so now I am undecided. I am thinking of a career in business,
possibly. I also joined a Greek association, Alpha
Gamma Delta. The girls rock! By the way, Valdosta is a
great place and it has a wonderful party atmosphere. |
