Lidded Cedar Box

This small cedar box is made from some boards I had sawn from some logs my father gave me. Some of the boards had some nice figured areas and I was just dying to try a new resawing blade on my tablesaw. This is the result of that effort.

The sides of the box are 3/8" cedar. The top is 1/2" cedar with a routed edge and the bottom is 1/4" birch plywood. The box is finished with several coats of paste wax.
