Penny's Awesome Animals

About me:
Since the age of 17, I have been working with the Boy Scouts of America with Troop 429. At the age of 18, I became an offical assiatant boy scout leader and my stepdad, now my dad, adopted me. So, for the past 6 years legally I have 2 siblings through my dad and a biological brother, also including my wonderful mom. The three of us are all leaders with dad being the Scout Master. In Feburary of 2007, mom and I went to training for Boy Scouts called Woodbadge. Through woodbadge, I became part of a patrol called the Fox Patrol.

My talents/accomplishments:

Over the years, I have earned the Child Care specialist certificate and a Child Care Managers certificate. Today, I hold an AA and have recently earned the Hope Grant and Scholorship. As for talents, I consider myself as a poet. I write poetry for many reasons, even for emotional help. I find myself turning to my paper and pens when I am thoroughly down about something. During the year of 2007, I was considered to me Poetry Ambassador of the Month of September. Also, on Saturday, the second of Febuary, I will recieve my woodbadge beads for completeing my tickets.

Something special I like to do:
I have substituted and taught a little, but its something I found I love to do, I love teaching. The ability to watch a student understand something I have taugth just gives me a new revalation everytime. I love having the feeling that I helped that child, I had a role in that childs life and I can only hope that I can be such a good role in my students' lives that it will have an impact on them to know they are good people and can always turn to me or someone for help. Also, I am a true believer in not harming animals, though I hate dogs, I am not one to hurt them.

1.Valdosta State University: Valdosta State University is the university I go to for completing my education to become an elementary school teacher.
2. Writers Cafe: I am a poet and here I can write my poetry and put my name out there in hopes the right person will see it.
3. FaceBook : I love this place because I can keep things going with my friends and we can talk when there isn't time in the day to talk face to face.
4. Game Informer: I love this magazine and the website. I can keep up with the world of video games through here and find out what is coming out on the systems I own and want to own. Currently, I have a gamecube, gameboy, Gameboy Advanced, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, and a Super Nintendo.
5. GameStop: This has got to be the best place to buy games!!! I use this website often to buy my games because I am very tired of not being able to get my games in the stores they are suppose to be in.
