Pamela A. Robinson

 

Hi! I'm Pamela. Welcome to my page. I am currently enrolled at VSU with my sights set on  Organizational Communications. My emphasis is public relations, a compliment to my enthusiastic personality.

My journey to obtain my degree at VSU began in the fall of 2001 and I plan to graduate with my class in 2005. My career thus far has been as a Respiratory Therapist however, I intend to make public relations a second career.

Valdosta's campus is beautiful. It attracted my attention and I began walking the campus daily. As my curiosity peaked I started asking students how they liked the curriculum and found that the students were impressed with the professors and classes. Before long I had filled-out paperwork and enrolled. I have not been disappointed. The campus atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly.

I am the oldest child in my family. My younger sister obtained her degrees and continues to encouraged me to pursue my dream. My son is now my inspiration to furthering my education as I hope to set a wonderful example for him to follow. 

My hometown is Tampa, Florida and I may may follow my dreams back there( would make my parents very happy) or perhaps  California is my destiny!!

 

 

 

The Freshman Year Experience provides a community learning experience. It provides freshmen the opportunity to excel and grow with a superb support system in place that encourages you to put your best effort into your studies.

I chose to use the Freshman Year Experience to experience the camaraderie of my fellow students and be well prepared for my sophomore year. Academically I am holding a GPA of 4.0 and very proud to say that the FYE program has helped tremendously. Due to the encouragement I know that I will obtain my Bachelors with my sights set on my Masters.

I would encourage everyone to try the FYE program. The lessons learned last a lifetime and the friendships I have made will be with me always.
