Major duties: Research printed and electronic resources for MLIS faculty in their development of classroom lectures and presentations. Become well versed in the use of search engines (EBSCOHost, ProQuest, WorldCat, NetLibrary, ERIC, LISA and others). Participate in the ordering and cataloging of MLIS resources. installation, design and support of technology to be integrated into online and classroom teaching, creating web pages and WebCT applications utilizing a variety of software programs.

2002 to present — web designer — South Georgia Coalition to End Homelessness, Valdosta, GA

Summer 2003 -- Student Assistant in the Department of Information Technology, Valdosta State University
Major duties: implemented, configured and tested the Microsoft XP Suite; replaced failing hardware components for workstations and personal computers; provided on-site troubleshooting and system security maintenance for campus offices and labs.

Summer 2002 — Intern for the Solaris Operating System—Information Technology, Valdosta State University, Valdosta, GA
Major duties: implemented, configured and tested the Solaris Operating System and application infrastructure; replaced failing hardware components for servers and workstations; provided technical support to both faculty and student users throughout the University; and designed web pages for servers.
