Oldest Camp For Girls Celebrates 50th Anniversary
Green Team Takes Camp Rifle Match
The Green Team took top honors in the Rifle Match at Camp Glenrochie which was in charge of Marge Carter, counselor from Valdosta, Ga.
The Red team bowed to the Greens by a point score of 323 to 363. Each girl fired two rounds.
Caroline Phelan led the shooting with the highest score for five bullets. Cherry Greve made the highest totals of 80 points each.
Scoring for the Greens were Eleanor Oppenhimer, 32 and 39; Mary Kolmer, 37 and 29; Cindy Pye, 35 and 36; Caroline Phelan, 43 and 37; and Martha Alsop, 39 and 38.
The Reds made the following scores: Eleanor Barton, 32 and 42; Emily McCammon, 25 and 22; Cherry Greve, 40 and 40; Cynthia Knoch, 33 and 28; and Ann Harrell, 33 and 28.
