Camp Directors
1901-1951
Mrs. Mary “Mamie” Wheeler Robertson Reade (Mrs. Willoughby A.) founder of Camp Glenrochie at The Meadows in Abingdon, Virginia served as Director from 1901 until her death in 1919.
At Mrs. Reade’s death, Mr. Willoughby A. Reade continued as Director from 1919 until he retired from the post after the 1946 summer.
Dr. Frank R. Reade served as Director from 1946 until the permanent closing of Camp at the end of the summer 1951.
