Camp Glenrochie Closes 50th Consecutive Season
Reds Win Camp Archers’ Tourney
The Red team won over the Greens by a score of 276 to 252 during the annual Archery Tournament as Camp Glenrochie ended its 50th summer season.
Betty Brown of Scarsdale, N. Y., shot the high score of 74 from 15 yards to spark the Red’s lead. Hazel Tseng of Shanghai, China, shot 68 from 20 yards.
Scoring for the Greens was Caroline Phelan of Valdosta, Ga., who shot 64 from the 30 yard line. Other Greens scoring were Nancy Corson of Arlington and Lee Sparrow of Fairfield, Conn., from the 15 yard mark, Louise Oliver of Savannah and Cindy Pye of Alexandria, Va., from 20 yards.
