During my career my leadership abilities translated into winning radio station teams. My attention to detail and organization
led to the development and execution of highly successful programming and promotion ventures. I have also been involved in leadership roles within various organizations both volunteer and professional since high school. Between 1966 and 1972, while a student at Odessa College and the University of Houston, I worked both full and part time for a number of radio stations in Odessa and Houston, ranging from weekend air personality to program director for both commercial operations and the campus stations at Odessa College (KOCV) and the University of Houston (KUHF).
