Brief Bio:
Although I was born in Austin, Texas, and spent most of my youth in west Texas; I adopted the Pacific Northwest (Puget Sound) as HOME in the early 60's. I spent the first 25 years of my professional life in radio--from stations in west Texas to the Texas gulf coast and finally ALMOST HOME to eastern Washington. I returned to academic pursuits in January of 1990 and graduated from Eastern Washington University (Go Eagles) with my Master of Arts degree in 1993. My wife (Trisha) and I ended up in Valdosta at VSU via a short stop in Chico, California from Cheney/Spokane in eastern Washington.
Currently I am a member of the Georgia Speech Communication Association (GSCA) and the Broadcast Education Association (BEA).

This site is deliberately low graphics (for loading and navigating convenience), is self-authored (with thanks to Dr. Charles Beadle, Communication Arts--for giving me the basic knowledge and more importantly the courage to tackle html!), and was developed with Netscape Communicator v4.04.
