5. Houston and it's surrounding area is very flat.  There are numerous high rise buildings, otherwise known as sky-scrapers.  The inner city is filled with freeways, and traffic is very heavy.  Contrary to popular belief, comboy hats and boots are not the wardrobe of choice. 
Interesting Facts About Houston
1. Located just outside Houston is the Battleship Texas BB35.  This battleship served in World War I and World II. 
2. Also located in Houston is the Space Center Houston, also known as the Johnson Space Center.  The space center is responsible for the first manned flight to the moon.
3. Among the malls in Houston, is The Galleria.  Located in the center of the Galleria is a beautiful ice-skating rink,  This is the rink where Tara Lipinski began her ice-skating career.

5. The city is full of buildings old and new.  Most of the buildings have historical significance.  The city, as well as the country, survived the assualt by the German Nazi's during War World II. 
Interesting Facts About London
1. This is a great site that contains a map of London.  It can be used to pin point locations of historical landmarks, such as Big Ben.
2. The Tower of London was once used to safe-guard the crown jewels of England.  Its a great example of how a historical structure has become a national museum. 
3. The London Wax Museum has amassed over 300 wax figures.  Each figure has his or her own history based on the historical figure he/she represents.
