Spend Maymester 2010 in Germany! Study for three weeks in Germany, in the heart of Europe. Visit amazing cities like Berlin, Dresden, Weimar and Bonn. Learn about Hitler’s Third Reich, different cultures in Germany and Europe, and modern political, economic and social issues. Follow the paths of Martin Luther, Goethe, Beethoven, and the Grimm Brothers. On the program are also visits to the concentration camp in Buchenwald, to the UN headquarters in Bonn, to Charlemagne’s seat of power in Aachen, to Luther’s Wartburg, and to other sites of historic and cultural interest. |

For the experience of a lifetime earn up to six credit hours in History, Cultural Geography, Political Science, or International Studies. At the end of the program, you may also explore Germany’s neighbors such as France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, and the Czech Republic. |

The $3,850 program fee includes international roundtrip airfare, field trips, health insurance, guided city tours, housing (plus some meals), and a rail pass.

Accommodations & Meals:
Students share double rooms at our facilities in Bonn, Weimar and Berlin, and each room has a TV and a private bath. A limited number of single rooms are available too, but only on a first-come, first-served basis, and for an additional fee.

A number of meals are offered as part of the program package in the dining halls of our facilities. Breakfast will be offered Monday through Saturday, and on each class day we will at least offer one hot meal. The dining halls will offer a wide variety of menu items, and a vegetarian choice can be included if requested. |

Withdrawal Policy*:
Application fees and other payments are applied toward required advances, purchase of airline tickets and other costs related to the program. Note that $100 of the $200 application fee is non-refundable and covers processing and reservation fees. Participants who withdraw from the program after the application deadline receive a refund according to the following schedule: |
