My name is
Melissa White. I graduated
from Cairo High Schoolin
2002. After high school I attended
Abraham
Baldwin Agricultural College
for three years. In the Summer of 2005 I
graduated with an
Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education.
I then
transfered to Valdosta State University where I
am currently pursuing a
Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education. In the Spring
of 2007 I was accepted into the College of Education at
Valdosta State. I plan to graduate from VSU in the Fall of 2008.
I grew up in a very small town called Cairo, GA. Growing up in
Cairo was a great experience, I graduated with people I had grown up
with and we all knew each other. I spent most of my
school
experience in 4-H. In 4-H I worked in
several different projects
that dealt with computers, plants and soil, and cooking. I also
had a chance to work with the younger 4-Hers' on their projects which
is where I found out that I wanted to become a teacher.
I have many animals at my house. I have a very
crazy and lazy cat named Boo,
she is very spoiled by me and the rest of my family. My family
also owns six horses Rebel, Sunrise, Cricket, Scooter, Tater, and
Izzy. We also have two dogs named Mick and Lulu.
