Class policies

After three absences, I will lower your final grade by a letter. A tardy counts as an absence. After five absences, I will fail you. If you see that you are going to be out of class for more than a couple of days, please get in touch with me. I take attendance seriously. Learning is a cooperative effort, and if you do not show up, you are not pulling your weight in the class.
Late assignments will be penalized 20 points if submitted within one week of due date. No assignments will be accepted later than one week past the due date.
Any missing projects at quarter's end will automatically result in a failing class grade.
