Section 1: INtroduction Hi, everyone! Welcome to my Homepage. My name is Morgan Ashley Collier and I am a freshman here at Valdosta State University. I am originally from Fayetteville, Georgia. If you don't know where that is it's 5 to 10 minutes away from College Park, Riverdale, and Peachtree City. The reason I chose to come to Valdosta State is because it was away from home and I could still receive the HOPE scholarship.

| section 2: freshman year experience
The purpose of the Freshman Year Experience was to help new freshman students with their adjustment to college life. This class teaches the student how to study for tests and exams, also how to become responsible for themselves. FYE stands for Freshman Year Experienc. Taking this course allowed me to meet new people and to always have a couple of familiar faces to see while out on campus. The people in my FYE class were also the ones in my cohort so that I had some more classes with the same people. I believe that being able to have that makes a freshman's first year a lot easier because they will always have a familiar face. I would definitely encourage new incoming freshman to take the FYE course and even be in a cohort. |
