Ways I can Integrate Technology

a. Microsoft Word
   
    1.  Musical Computers: Each student picks four or more clip art pictures, and then they walk around to another computer, with music, sit at a different computer and create a story using the four pictures in front of them. You could also integrate technology by using the Internet for finding pictures.  This could be used for all subjects depending on the subject of the pictures.  If you are using it for creative writing, tell the student's to pick four random pictures of their choice.  Or for a science lesson you could have pictures of the life cycle of a caterpillar.

b. Using Templates

    1.  Writing spelling words in sentences or stories
    2.  Write a story and leave words out and the students fill in the blanks.
    3.  Lesson plan template for teacher use.
    4.  General notes home for teacher use. (feild trips passes, ice cream money requests, etc.)
    5.  Math worksheets, that incorporate games that have a common outline.

c.  Software

    1. Pratice with curriculum.
    2. Testing purposes
    3. Rewards for doing a good job on somthing, they could play a computer game and still be have some education value.
    4. Teaching basic computer skills.

d.  Internet

    1.  Research
    2.  Publishing
    3.  Communication
    4.  Play educational games
    5.  Updating students on news and weather information.

e.  Camera

    1. Create a e-book using ditgtal pictures. 
    2. Using picutres to simulate creative writing and creative expression.
    3. Make a file of class photos to remember special events that took place throghout the year.  Could also have a running journal that they write in.

f.    Overhead Projector

    1. Can make siliolettes of students. 
    2. Interacting with the dry erase board.
    3. Showing examples.
    4. Tool for checking work.
