Unit Outcomes In this unit I would like my students to have a feeling of self worth and an idea of an accomplishment in their lives.  I want the students to know how Ty Cobb impacted baseball,  and how baseball became America's favorite pasttime.  I also want my students to know some of the events and people surrounding the 1930's.  Because Ty Cobb was born in Georgia, and because we live in Georgia, I want my students to have a greater appreciation for this state.  My Q.C.C objectives are listed with each lesson.
