Annotation:In
this lesson, you will present to the class the information you researched
on the Internet about your topic from the 1930's You will present
your written report orally, and you will also present your choice of a
visual aid to the class. This will be in the form of a power point.

Procedures:
Day 1
1. The
teacher will tell the students that they will be making a Power Point presentation
to accompany their topic on the 1930's.
2. The
students students will be shown on the LCD projector how a simple Power
Point Presentation is made.
3.
The students will be given directions to complete at least 10 slides on
their topic.
4.
The students will be accompanied to the computer lab to make their power
point presentations. The teacher will guide the students in their
work. the students will be given a list of clipart sites and other
pre-selected websites to supplement their presentations.
Day
2
5.
The students will present their oral reports and power point presentations.
6.
The other students in the class will write 5 interesting facts about each
topic presented.

Assessment: The students will be assessed
on the completion of 10 slides about their given topic. The students
will also be assessed on their presentation skills. The students

Accomodation:
Special
needs students may collaborate with another student while making and presenting
their Power Point.
Modification:
Other
media presentations may be used in the place of power point including videos,
slide presentations, and posterboards. The students may need an extra day
for presentations.
