2. "Can you give me a few examples of words that have multiple meaning"?
Today we are going to read an eBook on the Internet.  I have made a special Mini-Research eBook on the Internet for your class.  (During discussion have students turn around away from the computer to interact.)

Student went through activity and was able to answer all questions that were asked correctly. When student used or clicked on games and activities, he got all the answers correct. When we did the learning activity at the end, he was able to put all of the pictures with the right sentences, with 100% accuracy. You could tell that he enjoyed the activity and learning more about multiple meaning words.

Student went through the activity, it took a little more time, but she recognized with help multiple meaning words, but when shown a small paragraph with multiple meaning words in it the student needed help in picking the words out of the paragraph. She did well on clicking on links, and completed the activity on her own. Later we did a whole group activity, and I sat with her to help her better learn homophones.

1.      Comment on your teaching of how your Mini-Research eBook Lesson created learning experiences and activities that implemented the use a variety of resources and technologies.

a.       I feel that the lesson went well over all, I tried to use good interactive links from websites. I used the computer, educational links, a camera to incorporate pictures. During the lesson we looked at a previous work sheet about multiple meaning words. I also had a worksheet that had sentences on it and handmade drawn pictures for the students to cut out and color if they wanted.

2.      State evidence to show that your students gained knowledge during your Mini-Research eBook Lesson.

a.       I could tell that the students gained knowledge during this lesson because at the end of the lesson they cut out two sentences each containing the same word and had to match the right meaning of the word with the right picture.  One student did this very well without any teacher guidance, and the other needed some teacher guidance, but was able to complete the rest of the sheet, after one was modeled for her.

3.      Give at least one suggestion that would lead to improving your teaching practices and student achievement.

I think I would have modeled an example a little more clearly with the second student when I noticed that she did not have a full understanding of what we were doing .
