This
is a wonderful Jewish folktale of a grandfather and
a grandson. The grandfather sews a blanket for his grandson,
Joseph. Joseph loves his blanket and carries it with him ever
where he goes. As Joseph grows older, so does his blanket.
Joseph's mother insist that the worn and frazzled blanket be thrown
away. To find out what happens to the blanket, continue to read.
a.
Which character sews the blanket?
b.
What do you think happens to the blanket?
