WELCOME
To the webpage of assistant professor Linda de la
Garza of the Department of Chemistry at Valdosta State University. Our research group is
interested in chemistry at the interfaces. We assemble organic-inorganic
and biological- inorganic materials and use spectroscopical, electrochemical,
and photoelectrochemical techniques to characterize the active
interactions between them. We are focused on developing nanomaterials for energy
conversion and sensors.
Our laboratory is located in the third floor of the
Bailey Science Building
in Room 3032.
Prof.
Linda de la Garza has research experience on nanostructured semiconductor electrodes,
biological fuel cells, and DNA hybridization sensors.
