My name
is LaShonda
Cuffie, and I am from the small town of Sylvester, Georgia. I am
a junior Early
Childhood Education
major at Valdosta State University.
Currently, I am in my first
professional semester, and I am very excited to begin my practicum in
the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes this fall! I have always had a
passion for children!
Every since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to become a
teacher. As a future educator, I will teach my students materials
that
will help them in school and later on in life. My classroom will be a
warm and exciting
place to learn!
My hobbies are spending time with my family and
friends, shopping, traveling, and playing basketball. I played
basketball and ran track for three years. My favorite
basketball team is the Los Angles
Lakers.
There are so many websites that I found useful and
would recommend for teachers. One website that I really enjoyed
was Scholastic.
This website has several educational activity
links to Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies for all grade
levels. Another great website is A to Z Teacher Stuff.
This
website has tools for teachers to create lesson plans, worksheets,
articles, and lesson themes.
