Introduction
This
unit is designed for a fifth grade class. The unit is designed to
expand on the QCC that covers World War II. The expansion deals with
the Holocaust, mainly children who lived in Germany and the surrounding
areas. The unit teaches students how Jewish children were treated
during the Holocaust.

This lesson integrates Social Studies and literature. Students listen to a story then write a simulated journal. |

This lesson is a virtual field trip. The students will take a virtual field trip to a website that talks about true life stories of Holocaust children. It includes three activites for the students. |
