| 1. The
students were asked to look at different pictures of various
objects in the outside world and point out the basic shapes of circle,
square, triangle and rectangle. They were then asked to name some
things in the environment that are made of those certain shapes. For
the activity, the students were asked to use pieces of construction
paper cut into the four shapes and glue them together to create an
invention to be used by our president. The students are
in Kindergarten. 2. Student 1 identified circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles found in the environment. The student also named other places where they could find those shapes. They voiced how much they enjoyed working with the websites and asked to do the eBook again. This student used a variety of shapes to create an invention. They were also able to tell what each shape was when asked. They needed no help to perform the activity. The student wrote what the invention does. The student voiced that the invention "walks." The teacher did not need to help the student with spelling. |

The student voiced completed the activity with no help. They used a variety of shapes except for the circle. When asked why they did not use a circle, the student said they just didn't think it was needed for their invention. The student did not need help to complete the activity. The student voiced that the invention runs. The teacher helped the student with spelling. |
