Hi! My name is Kayla DeLaune, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Reading Education at Valdosta State Universtiy.  I am a junior and plan to finish my studies in December of 2005.  I hope to one day teach elementary school in the public school system of Georgia.
                                                                                                                                                                                                   
I was born and raised in the great city of Valdosta, Georgia where I graduated from Lowndes High School in 2001.  I enjoy vacationing at the beaches of Florida every summer, and the most exciting place I've ever visited was the Bahamas on a Carnival cruise ship.  I would also love to travel to the Hawaiian Islands sometime in the future. 
                                                                                

I am married to Jesse DeLaune, who is originally from the interesting city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  I also have one brother, who is attending college on a baseball scholarship, and two parents who are very supportive of my college education.  My family and I love attending sporting events together such as baseball, football, and basketball games.  On my own, I love reading all genres of books including novels by John Grisham and Nicholas Sparks.  Cooking is also a hobby of mine that I aquired from my talented mother.
