Please apply on-line for participation in the Excavations of the Baths at Roman Carsulae for the 2012 season. You can apply on-line by filling out the application below. (Be sure to hit the "submit" button.) If you prefer to apply by mail download the application. You can print it, fill it out, and return it by mail with the $200 non-refundable application fee. - Important Dates
- April 2, 2012: application deadline
April 9, 2012: last day for acceptance notification
April 30, 2012: balance of program charge is due
April 30, 2012: program charge not refundable after this date
- Payment Information
- The non-refundable application fee of $200 is due with your application. To pay on line follow this link to the VSU Summer Study Abroad Programs site. Once you are accepted the balance of the program fee should also be paid through this site. Fees can also be paid by check made out to "Jane Whitehead" and sent to Jane at the address above. Be sure to provide the name of the applicant on the check.
- Academic Credit Information
- Students may enroll for academic credit through
Valdosta State University as "transient students." See the VSU website for more information on the application process. (Please note that you must be accepted to participate in the excavation before applying for credit as a transient student.) One may take one or both of the courses listed below:
INTL 3500SG, Archaeology in Italy I: June 9 - June 30, 2012 (3 credits)
INTL 3500SH, Archaeology in Italy II: July 1 - July 21, 2012 (3 credits)
