Ryan Powell Valdosta State University 1500 North Patterson Street Valdosta,  GA USA 31698 May 15, 2005	Hello.  I am a Senior at Valdosta State University.  Originally from Nashville, GA, I chose to come to VSU mainly because of the short distance it is from my home town.      This electronic portfolio is made possible through the FYE (Freshmen Year Experience Program).  Freshmen Year Experience has aided me greatly in beginning my college career.  It has helped me meet new people and shown me things that will be a benefit  academically in the future .  To learn more about this program click here.       Here at VSU, I am an active member of the UMSC (United Methodists Student Center).  It is located on Patterson Street across from the main campus.  We have BIG TIME every monday in the UC (University Center) theater at 8:00 p.m.  Also, BIG LUNCH is scheduled on Wednesday's at 12:00 p.m. at the student center.
