Hey everyone! My name is Jessica Darsey-Harper and I am a Graduate Student at Valdosta State University. GO BLAZERS!!

I graduated, Cum Laude, in May 2007 with a B.A. in Sociology & Anthropology, and a minor in Women's Studies.

Also in May 2007, my "college sweetheart" and I got married! Hunter and I have been together since October 2002 and we were so excited to  "officially" begin our lives together!

My family means the world to me and I'm so blessed to have them so close! My dad is in the oil business and my mom is the office manager for a local elementary school. I have two younger brothers as well. One is a junior at Georgia Tech and the other is in his senior year of high school.

I am going into my sixth year working with OASIS Center for Advising & First Year Programs. I went through the Freshman Year Experience (FYE) Program my first year of college and then became a Peer Mentor for the next four.

I am now serving as a Graduate Assistant/Advisor for first year students whose majors are undecided. I help them with Registration and Advising for their entire first year of college. I LOVE MY JOB!!
