Math is Fun is a fun site for parents to go to with their kids.  There is help with lots of math areas like numbers, algebra, shapes, measurements, times tables and much more.  There are also printable worksheets and quizzes.


Science
Hobby Science is a cool site for kids and parents to visit together.  There are several ideas here for science experiments you can do at home with your children.  Fun site!

Science News for Kids is a site that parents can visit with their children to explore things in our world.  They can discover many things with your help.  Encourage them to be curious about our world.
The Weather Watch page on the Scholastic web site, is a good tool to help kids study weather.  There is a weather study that your kids can do at home for fun, or as a science fair project.

Language Arts
Kid's Lab is a great site for at home help with developing language arts skills.   These are activities your children can do online, with or without your help.

At the Kid's Center of FunBrain.com, your kids can play games that help to reinforce their language arts skills.  This location is for words, and there are games to reinforce and strengthen vocabulary skills, identify parts of speech, and practice spelling.  
As your child advances through grades, he/she will have to write more and more essays.  This Guide to Writing a Basic Essay will help you, as a parent,  help your child with their writing assignments. 
 
Art Tales is an interesting site.  This site uses wildlife art to cultivate creative writing skills.  Your child can visit this site and discover wildlife art and write a journal based on the pictures on this site.  They can even publish their work on the website.

The American Libraray Association has a great website for parents, that includes links for several good websites to visit with your kids in many different areas,tips on  choosing a good website for your children, and  how to help your child learn to use the library.

Starfall.com is such a wonderful site for parents with kids who are learning to read and who already read.  Parents can visit this site with their kids, and kids can explore by themselves. This site will  entertain your children with its brilliant colors and sounds.

Book Adventure is a GREAT site for parents with children who already enjoy reading and for parents who want to encourage a love of reading in their children. Social Studies

Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids is a good site to visit with your kids to help them understand the concept of our nation, our communities and neighborhoods, and symbols of our nation.  There are games and activities for kids to do as well.

The Liberty's Kids website, which is the companion to the television show, is a fun, engaging site for kids to visit and explore.  Your kids will love exploring with their favorite Liberty's Kids character.
Social Studies for Kids is a very extensive site with lots to do involving all facets of social studies. This page includes everything!! There are many links involving economics, current events, history, and government and so much more!

Kids In The House is a fun, interactive site that helps to give children a better understanding of our government.  While exploring this site, your children will find information on how laws are made, Congress, and American history. 



Art

Crayola.com is a great site for parents, kids, and educators. For parents and kids, it has arts and crafts ideas, ideas for party decorations, and more.Pay attention to the Parents and Teachers as Partners link.

Enchanted Learning.com has an extensive collection of crafts for all ages that can be done with everyday objects and materials found around the house.  Parents, this is a great site for rainy day activities. 
The Art Room is a fun site to visit with and for your kids.  There are plenty of art projects that you can do with your child or just get them started and see where their creativity takes them.  This is a great site for kids who love art and drawing. 

Artists Helping Children is a site made by artists for the "budding child artists".  Parents visit this site if you have a child who is interested in art.  There are so many good ideas here, that your child can do by themself, or that you can do with your child. 



Music
The Children's Music Web is a great resource for parents and teachers.  It has links to other GREAT music sites for parents, teachers, and kids.  This site, and the links, advocate music in children's lives.

The New York Philharmonc Kids Zone is a fun, colrful, engaging site for kids who want to learn more about music.  There is a game room, a place to meet famous conductors and musicians, learn about different eras of music, compose your own music, and much more.  This is a fun site!!
Fun With Music is a fun-filled informational site that was produced by the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.  It introduces and cultivates a love of music in young minds. Visit this site with your children and encourage a love of music. This is an awesome site!!

At the Disney Online Music Page, your kids can go explore their favorite music.  Their favorite artists and songs are here for them to discover, there are games to play, and the familiar characters to explore with.


Physical Education
Get Kids In Action is a must visit site for parents.  Visit this site with your child to help encourage them to pursue an active, healthy lifestyle.  This site can help you and your child discover why they should be active and how to spice their eating habits while staying healthy. 

Games Kids Play is a great site for parents who want to be involved with their children and keep them active.  This site is a resource for over 250 games you can teach and play with your kids that will keep them active.   This site will give you fun ways to keep your young ones active and entertained.
The Exploratorium is a cool site that kids will love.  It is all about the science of sports.  Kids can explore the history, how-to, and how's it work of different sports like skateboarding, surfing, baseball and more.  Interesting site, with lots of stuff to explore.

The Get Active Stay Active site is a good site to help encourage kids to stay active.  Use this site to help encourage your children to begin and maintain healthy, active habits that will benefit them for years to come.

Kid's Health is a really great health site for kids and parents.  It has a section for parents and kids on dealing with feelings, illnesses and injuries, growing up, their bodies, and much more.  Great site for parents with children of all ages.

At Kellogg's Nutrition Camp, you and your children can learn about the benefits of nutrition with Tony the Tiger.  There are games to play and a Learning Lab to learn about the food groups, the benefits of breakfast, and nutrition.
Kid's Health is a really great health site for kids and parents.  It has a section for parents and kids on dealing with feelings, illnesses and injuries, growing up, their bodies, and much more.  Great site for parents with children of all ages.
