About Me
Hey  y'all! My name is Jennifer Carter.  I live in Statenville, Georgia, which is a very small town just 30 minutes away from Valdosta.  I have lived in Statenville for the most part of my life. It is a great town to live in if you love the country life. I don't have many neighbors in my area.   Actually, my next door neighbor's are a pasture of cows.  I have been married almost two years now to my highschool sweetheart, Billy Carter.

We got married on April 8, 2006, and couldn't be any happier. I am an active member of the Y.A.C.H.T (Young Adults Choosing His Truth) Club at  Bethel Church of God in Echols County. I work at the Lake Park YMCA as a Front Desk/Member Service Representative. I enjoy travelling with my husband and spending time with my friends and family...especially my nieces, Cassidy and Cailyn.

Cassidy and Cailyn

I am a HUGE Atlanta Braves fan and Florida State Seminole fan. My husband and I agree that the Braves are the best, but when it comes to college football we differ. He is a Miami Hurricane fan so every season we argue on who will win between the two.

My Talents and/or Accomplishments
I have played softball since I was five years old. I played all through grade school and high school, but I did not play in college. I do continue to play recreational softball at the South Lowndes Recreational Center. I have to admit that I enjoy playing recreational softball better than school softball because it is not all about winning. I also perform dramas and sing in the young adult choir at my church. I love acting and singing especially when it is expressing my love for God.
My biggest accomplishment would have to be giving my heart to Jesus when I was 12 years old.

Something Special I Would Like To Do:
I would like to one day rent an rv and spend a few months with my husband travelling across the beautiful United States of America! Afterwards, I would like to travel the rest of the world.

I also want to start a family with my husband, but not until I finish school. I really love children, and I know that there would be nothing better than raising a family and giving my two nieces some cousins to play with.

Some of my favorite websites:

Valdosta State University
This is a website I frequently visit for scheduling of classes, email, and to get updates on what is going on around campus.
Myspace
This is probably my most favorite website. I use this website to keep in contact with old friends and family members who live far away. It is a great website because you get to design your own page (i.e. “My Space”).
If you click on the link you can view my personal Myspace page.
Facebook

This is another great website that lets people socialize online. It started out as a website for college students to interact with other college students, but has expanded so that anyone can now have a Facebook page. I really like to get on here to see what everyone is up to.

Oriental Trading
I love going to this website to get great deals on party supplies in bulk or just single items. When I got married this website helped me save a ton of money. I bought my center pieces, my party favors, and many other items.

Ebay
This website is one of my favorites because I get really good deals on items that would sometimes cost an arm and a leg. I purchased a brand new ipod on here for only $38.00 when in stores it would cost me $198.00. I also purchase my softball bats on Ebay. They are just a lot cheaper, and I love good deals
