Bath is a city located in the southern part of the United Kingdom.

The city of Bath is one of England’s tourist gems and has been welcoming visitors for over two millennia.
This historic city has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and presents some of the finest architectural sights in Europe, most notably the famous Roman Baths.

The Baths are not alone in being one of many great tourist attractions to be
housed all within the boundaries of one city – take for example the ancient thermal springs, which are now numbered as one of the UK top five tourist attractions.

From the moment you arrive you will feel the wealth of heritage and soak up the culture in one of the UK’s best loved cities.

The charter of the town of Bath, granted in 1761, set aside land in equal shares for 68 families, with a church and a school. The town was named for one of England's prominent statesmen, William Pulteney, first Earl of Bath.

The year of the first census taken taken in 1790 showed 493 residents in Bath.

Over fifty years, Bath's population increased very little, growing just over a quarter larger and still not surpassing 1,000 residents. Decennial growth rates ranged from a 14 percent decrease between 1950-1960 to a 25 percent increase between 1970-1980.
 In 1950, there were 760 people in Bath.
In 2000, there were 893 people in Bath.
The 2003 Census estimate for Bath was 922 residents, which ranked 190th among New Hampshire's incorporated cities and towns.

When the temperature rises in Bath, join the crowds to picnic or laze around in Royal Victoria Park, just below the Royal Crescent. Above Widcombe is Prior Park gardens with more views of the city from a Capability Brown landscape.

Beyond the city center, the American Museum is set in exquisite grounds in Claverton and Beckford's Tower is at the top of Lansdown Hill.

Bath has three theaters. The largest and most famous is the Theater Royal, opened in 1805 and steeped in history.
