Hello everyone! My name is Jordan Cayton. I am a Junior at Valdosta State University. I am in the
Interrelated Special Education and Early Childhood major. I have
a
great passion for children and educating them. I attended Crisp
County Schools throughout my
education. Since my hometown was so
small, my teachers were able to be personal and teach each individual
child as appropriate, which shaped my education.
I grew up with two wonderful parents and the best older sister I could ever want. Both of my parents worked in the school system. My mother is a Speech Language Pathologist, and my daddy was the head guidance counselor at the High School. When I was eleven, my father passed away from cancer. This experience molded and shaped my life into who I am today. My mother, my sister, and I grew very close to the Lord through this. My mother recently remarried, and my sister just became a newlywed. Another person who has a key to my heart
is
my
boyfriend of over
a year. He is defiantly a wonderful person, but the most
difining aspect in my life is my relationship with Jesus.
Besides my family, education, and friends, God has blessed me with many other things in my life that I enjoy. I love to knit! I also love to dance, sing, shop, and paint. As stated earlier, I have a passion for working with children. Since a young age, I have had children involved in my life, whether through babysitting or job shadowing. I absolutly love all kinds of ice cream!
My
favorite color is pink,
and my favorite sports teams are
Auburn Tigers football and Atlanta Braves
baseball.
