2. Two of the most powerful study skills teachers can help students develop are SQ4R and 40/60. In the latter, students write down as much as they can during class presentations. Before the next class (usually in another notebook), they generate questions from the old notes (on the 40% side of the page) and next to each question they write an answer based on the notes from the previous class and other sources (the answer is paraphrased).
