Tony's Little Helpers

Hello kids!!!  Tony the Tiger has asked all of us to come to the train station because he and his pals need our help.  He wants to take us on a magical train ride to Alphabet Land, but before the train will start you have to help him identify the correct letters to put into the engine.  Today's letters are Tt and Pp.  Once you correctly place these letters in the train, the engine will fire up.  Our next job, is to help Tony the Tiger find the letters Tt and Pp along our journey to keep the train moving.  Good Luck, and have a joyful adventure with Tony and his pals in Alphabet Land!!!  See you when you get back!!!

So before we get started, if you would like to visit Starfall for a click review do so now.  If not, let's get started.

Lesson 1

1.  You will be given a variety of letters and a bucket.
2.  By looking through all of the letters on your desk, separate all the Tt's and Pp's from the rest of the letters, and then, place them in front of you.
3.  Pick up the letters Tt and Pp and drop them into the bucket.  These are the letters that will be poured into Tony's Train to start the engine.

Lesson 2

(Paper letters, construction paper, glue, and markers on your desk.)
1.  Using the markers, draw a picture of a train on your paper.
2.  By looking through all of the letters in the bag on your desk,  find the letters Tt and Pp and take them out of the bag.
3.  After you have found these letters, close the bag and give to your teacher.
4.  Take the letters Tt and Pp that you just found and glue them to the train that you drew on your construction paper.  This will keep the train going on your adventurous journey.
