Welcome to Ms. Butler's Physical Science
webpage! Here at Cooper Middle School,
"We are Soaring to New Heights...as We Strive for Excellence"! In
order to prepare 6th- 8th students for high
school, we incorporate the Five R's Respect, Rigor, Responsibility,
Relationships and Relevance in Austell
,Georgia. The city of Austell is located in Cobb County the
second -largest school system in Georgia educating 106,425
students made up of 113 schools.
I reside in the city of East Point, Georgia located minutes from Atlanta Hartsfield
International Airport. I received my Bachelors in Biology
from prestigious Clark Atlanta
University located in downtown Atlanta. I am currently
pursuing my Masters Degree specializing in Special Education at
Valdosta State University. My hobbies include enhanced reading,
watching movies,
attending sporting events, pursuing the local cultural sciences and
spending time with my family.
I
currently teach 8th grade Physical
Science inclusion classes along with Ms.Gilbert. I am
the
Special Education teacher serving as a resource teacher in a
regular education classroom. My classroom incorporates hands-on
activities in order for students to
learn by experience. I allow students to use their imaginations
and creativity that polarizes memories that actively enhances a fun
learning environment.
