Valdosta State University

I am a freshman at VSU and am currently an undecided major. I'm thinking about a nursing or a business major. I'm really leaning towards the nursing major because I wanted to be a pharmacist until I found out the number of years I had to go to school. So nursing is the next best thing for me. Its something I've always thought about doing and something I think I would like to do depending on what kind of things I would have to do.Before I started school, it was a split decision between ABAC and VSU. ABAC is closer to my house, but i just felt like VSU was a better fit for me and that I'd get more out of it.

VSU’s Freshman Year Experience is an outstanding student development program that assists first-year students accomplish these tasks. The program is designed primarily for students who have not yet decided on an academic major. However, there are opportun-ities for students majoring in Political Science and Computer Science to participate in the Freshmen Year Experience.
