Officer Buckle teaches the students at his school important safety tips.  The children think he is boring.  Officer Buckle gets a dog, Gloria, to be his side kick.  She makes things much more interesting by acting out the safty tips behind Officer Buckles back.  The children love Gloria.

Joseph's favorite overcoat gets worn so he makes a jacket out of it.  When the jacket becomes old, he uses it to make something else.  He continues making things out of the garment until there is nothing left of the original overcoat.
