Valdosta State University
Hello! My name is Jenesha Angel Holloway. I am a Freshman at Valdosta State University, home of the 2007 National Champion Blazers! I am a nursing major and I also hope to minor in Spanish or theater. I want to be a nurse in the Army, a fashion designer, a model, an actress, and I want to own my own businesses. I would love to be able to help people and travel all around the world. I decided to attend Valdosta State University because the atmosphere here is a great learning experience. The people here are usually nice and very helpful.
The Freshman Year Experience

I believe the purpose of the Freshman Year Experience Program (FYE) is to help the lost and confused freshman entering a university. The FYE program has affected me such a great deal, both academically and socially. I enjoy being in this program, because I see familiar faces in almost all of my classes. Thanks to this program, I have found good friends, and one great friend in particular named Adrienne Williams. I believe that since I am in the FYE program, my future school development will be successful. My peer mentor's name is Kristin, and she is so helpful and nice. Throughout this program, I have learned the value of community service, the importance of studying for my classes, and the quality of friendship! |
