    Hi!  My name is Jessica Benson and I am a junior at Valdosta State University.  I am currently enrolled in the Early Childhood and Interrelated Special Education Master's Degree program.  I love working with children of all types and ages, and I am looking forward to having a classroom of my own someday.

    I am 21 years old, and I am a 2002 graduate of Coffee High School in Douglas, Ga.  I was born and raised in Douglas, but my parents are from different parts of the globe.  My mom is from Malaysia and my dad is from Missouri.  I have two younger brothers: Christopher and Joshua, and two pets: Kit (cat) and Snoop (dog).  Some of the things I like to do are listen to music, watch my favorite television shows, and go shopping.  I also like to travel.  Last year, I spent my spring break in Dublin, Ireland and London, England.   My family also likes to travel.  This past Easter we all went to Denver, Colorado to visit my dad's family, and for Christmas, we will be travelling to Malaysia to visit my mom's family.
