Students were to listen to the story and then re-tell it back to me. I
started off re-telling the story while holding a stuffed animal zebra.
When I passed the zebra to the first student, she was to continue
re-telling the story where I left off, etc. Grade Level: Kindergarten |

After viewing the video of Marco Polo, students were to draw their
favorite part from the video. Underneath their drawing, they were to
write the words "Loyalty" and "Honesty." Grade Level: Kindergarten |
| 2. The students seemed to enjoy
this activity. They liked holding the stuffed animal zebra and this it
was "their" time to be able to speak about the story. Students also had
the option of when to pass the zebra do they liked having control over
that. |

The students enjoyed the video and wanted to watch more. (since it was
only a clip) The students and I discussed the video while they told me
what their favorite parts were. Both of the students did a great job
writing their words with minimal help from me. |
