This student was really excited
about getting her own treasure box so she did not pay attention to the
directions or what she was supposed to be doing. I think that this
could have been handled differently if i tell them they can keep the
treasure boxes and color them aftere they complete the task of making
the pattern.

This student was also supposed
to form a pattern on the top of the treasure box but got distracted by
the fact that he could keep his treasure box and color it. He started
out making a pattern but got carried away with the jewels and just
decorated it the way he wanted without forming all patterns.
