Thanks for visiting the land of beautiful seashells.  My name is Gina Thomas.  I am a junior at Valdosta State University.  I am currently working on recieving my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Reading Education as well as a Master's in Special Education.  I work in Douglas, Georgia at First National Bank during the day and attend classes at night.  I am very excited about becoming a teacher so that I may touch the lives of so many others.  I think that teaching is a job that will reward you daily as you see the impact that you can have on a child's life.  This is most important to me....to make a lasting impression.

I have many different hobbies that I like to do in my free time.  My favorite hobby is going to the beach in the summer.  It seems to be so relaxing and calm.  I have just come back from the beach last weekend where I spent several days just being lazy.  During the time I had at the beach, I found several beautiful seashells along the shore.  At other times when I cannot go to the beach, I like to read books and spend time with my family and friends.  I am really a "family oriented" person so this is where I spend most of my leisure time and I love it.
