www.theiiba.org International Institute of Business Analysis Mark
A growing institute that promotes the profession of Business Analysis through education and certification. Business Analysts are largely responsible for gathering requirements and providing documentation support and requirements management to aid in the design and specifications for programmer developers to implement IT solutions. The highlighted creditial is the Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP).
www.cio.gov Chief Information Officers Council Mark
The primary federal interagency source to help CIOs in implementing their mandates in the process of managing information technology initiatives within their respective agencies.
www.omg.org Object Management Group Mark
Chief proponents of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model Driven Architecture (MDA) which support object oriented design and development in software projects. Provides certifications such as OMG Certified UML Professional, and materials related to these practices.
www.associationforsoftwaretesting.org Association for Software Testing Mark
Professional group devoted to improving software testing practices through best approach testing methodologies and education.
