Where can I get the textbooks? |
| Answer: |
You can usually get books from the VSU book store online (they should have the books in stock), through either the Moody Air Force Base VSU location, the Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base VSU location, or online. You might check Best Book Buys: http://www.bestwebbuys.com/books/ This is a meta-search for online book sales outlets. They will compare prices (new and used) and give you some info on availability.
If you are having a problem getting the books from some place or they say they are "out of stock" or "backordered" you may want to try and cancel your order. Be sure you can get your money back and that you can get the books sooner from another source. I hate to see students end up with two sets of books for a course...
If you are in a predicament with the books please let me know. I will try to work with you and/or help in some way. |

Will the Moody and Kings Bay classes operate the same way as the online class? |
| Answer: |
I expect to use a combination of traditional classroom methods and online activities for the Moody and Kings Bay classes. We will hold our regular weekend meetings and do some discussion of the topics during those meetings. Some topics might be set up for online discussion between weekends. |

Should the Moody and Kings Bay students start the readings before the classes meet the first time? |
| Answer: |
Yes. We need to be able to talk about the material in our two books when we meet. It will be necessary for the students to begin the reading before our first weekend to make our discussions meaningful. See the schedules and be sure to read the chapters assigned before each weekend. |

Question: |
When will the groups be formed for the projects for the Moody and Kings Bay classes? |
| Answer: |
The first weekend each class meets we will go through discussions of the projects and work on forming the groups. It is possible that the groups will have time to meet during class time. |
